What is ERR_404 4.0?

ERR_404 4.0 is the fourth iteration of 24hrs State Level Hackathon organised by Programmers Club of Computer Department of M. H. Saboo Siddik College of Engineering

We call out all the cybernerds to come forth, compile your minds and execute your ideas in a competitive environment.
The hackathon will run across the weekend which offers students the chance to work in groups, brainstorm ideas, and build a working prototype before the time limit!
Whether it's your first hackathon, or your 50th, we would love to see students of all skill levels and from all colleges come along for a weekend of creativity, collaboration and coding.

Rules and regulations!

Teams can be anywhere from two to four members.

To ensure a level field for all contestants, all code, design and assets must be created during the duration of the Hackathon.

You are, however, free to make plans, create wireframes, and brainstorm prior to the event. You are allowed to use 3rd party services, APIs, open source projects, libraries, and frameworks.

The participants are prohibited from the use of any intoxicants and alcohol during the entire duration of Virtual Hackathon. Professional behavior is expected from them.

Use of slang language/ offensive words will not be tolerated.

Attendees violating these rules will be disqaulified immediately.

Rules

*Harassment includes but is not limited to offensive verbal or written comments related to gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following.

If what you’re doing is making someone feel uncomfortable, that counts as harassment and is enough reason to stop doing it. Be careful and mindful of the words that you choose.

Remember that exclusionary comments and hacks can be offensive to those around you. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

Sponsors, judges, mentors, volunteers, organizers, and anyone else at the event are also expected to follow the same.

Participating teams should maintain discipline, join / leave the virtual meetings at the time assigned to them. Failiure in doing so would lead to disqualification. Please make sure that you are in a quiet area with less disturbance to ensure smooth communication.

Participants should keep an Id-card handy all the time.

Contacting other participating teams and harassing them for any technical help (codes, api, etc.) Is strictly prohibited

General Guidelines

We are hopeful that you all will be very excited about the ERR_404 4.0 Hackathon. To conduct this event smoothly & in a successful manner. We would like you to follow the below guidelines:

Please be present on time for the online onsite registration.

Keep valid college ID card by your side for verification. Without it, admission won't be allowed.

Participants are expected to follow the formal/proper dress code.

The schedule is tentative. It may change a bit,so participants are expected to abide as per the changed schedule.

Upload your code on github and update it from time to time.

Check your Internet connection, Camera and Audio prior to the start of Hackathon.

Keep your Camera ON at every stage of Evaluation and presentation.

The problem statements will be released two days before the event.

How much does it cost?

Absolutely nothing, except for hard work, dedication, and patience.
What should I bring?

Due to the online nature of the hackathon, you don’t have to travel. Though enthusiasm and humor are always welcome.
Where is it?

From the safest and most comfortable place, your home.
Is it compulsory that all members belong to same college?

No it is not, you can form a team of students from different colleges. While registering you can either put the Team Leader's College or mutually decide.
